So I recently decided to put a temporary restriction on blog comments. I had no idea that I would one day wake up to over 1500 comments waiting to be vetted and answered by me. So from now on after a blog has been posted for seven days it will be closed for commenting. This will allow me time to vet and answer all your questions.
One question I received from a reader and fellow #momlife was where do I purchase my baby supplies. This includes wipes, diapers, clothing, etc.
For large items I order everything online through Everything Canada Baby
Personally unless I have a store coupon I prefer Amazon’s subscribe and save. I have my favorite diapers and with Amazon mom and prime I get a discount and they are shipped to my house automatically on a set day. Often I will add trash bags, tide pods, shampoo, conditioner to the order to get an additional discount off them too.
I use Ebates to order baby clothes from Carters or other large retailers. Using Ebates allows me to collect an addition cash back on top of any savings discount I may receive. Another double dip method I use is purchasing with my travel rewards credit cards which allows me to accumulate points for gift cards, travel or car rental.
It doesn’t seem like a lot at first when you only receive .38 cents or $3.00 but when it accumulate on all savings platform for instance a $38. pack of diaper saved $2.00 on Amazon Baby Amazon, received .38 cents cash back credit though beats and earned 39 travel points on my credit card. If you buy direct through a retailer you don’t accumulate anything besides credit card point and the hassle of going to the retailer is another challenge. I’d much rather spend my time enjoying my children.
